Jack "The Nebraska Tornado" Taylor was an awesome boxer / fighter and brawler who happened to come up at the wrong time as Jack Dempsey wouldn't give any black fighters a chance. Unfortunately like most black fighters from that era he never got a break in America so he went to Europe where he was a fan favourite.

He beat the likes of future Heavyweight Champion Max Schmeling and Light Heavyweight Champion Battling Siki.

He faced many of the greats such as, Sam Langford with whom he drew, Tut Jackson, Kid Norfolk, Primo Carnera, Roberto Roberti, and Marcus Nilles.
