Iran Barkley was born on May 6, 1960 in the Bronx, New York. He had an illustrious boxing career, holding five different title belts in four weight divisions, including three World Title belts. He is the only fighter to win twice against Tommy Hearns for World Titles. After his retirement, he formed ‘Boxers for Boxers’ to attempt to reform the sport. He is active also in his Foundation Blade, where he speaks to children to attempt to help them deal with various problems in their lives.
