The Super Fight was a unique type of boxing match. Since Muhammad Ali and Rocky Marciano fought at different times, boxing fans often debated over who would have won in a fight between the two heavyweight champions. In 1970, a fictional boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Rocky Marciano, staged using probability formulas entered into a computer, was released as a feature film.

Muhammad Ali was born in Louisville, Kentucky. 17th January 1942. Ali said he was “The Greatest” and to most he was. He was the first man in history to win the Heavyweight championship 3 times. In 1964 he demolished Liston to become Heavyweight champion and in the return fight, knocked out Liston in the first round. He was stripped of the title in 1967 for refusing to join the U.S Army. Following the first defeat of his career to Joe Frazier he regained his title with an incredible win over Foreman in Zaire. He defended his title 10 times before losing it to Leon Spinks whom he outpointed in the return match winning the title for the historic third time. It was arguably the greatest heavyweight boxing career of all time.
Rocky Marciano was born in Brockton, Massachusetts. 1st September 1923. Rocky Marciano (originally Rocco Marchegiano). Rocky Marciano was not the last white heavyweight champion of the world, but he was last to rank with the all-time greats. Rocky is the only Heavyweight champ to remain unbeaten throughout his career, winning all 49 of his contests, 43 inside the distance. And Marciano could claim to be the most indestructible fighter of all. He was limited in skill, short and light. But he had a devastating punch “The Suzy Q”, and no opponent could halt his non-stop advance. Even when battered and gushing blood, he summoned up the will and power to knock out his man before the referee could stop the fight.
